UPDATE: Saturday 5/25/2013 7:00am
Commencement at 1:30 today has been moved inside to Athletic and Wellness Center because of rainy weather.
The Loras College 174th Commencement ceremony today at 1:30 will also be available via streaming at http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/lorasadmin.portal#
Loras College will hold its 174th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 1:30 p.m., in the Rock Bowl Stadium on the Loras College Campus. A baccalaureate Mass will also be held at 10 a.m., in the Athletic and Wellness Center, located near Cox and 17th Streets.
This year Loras College will bestow 351 degrees: 334 students with bachelor of arts/science degrees, two students with associate of arts degrees and 15 students with master of art degrees.
The Loras College Young Alumni Advisory Board will provide “legacy ribbons” to guests who are Loras College alumni and have a relative graduating. Alumni can pick up a ribbon to wear the day of the ceremonies, before baccalaureate and commencement at the main entrances of the Athletic and Wellness Center and the Rock Bowl. This is a new initiative that young alumni and the College look forward to making into a tradition.
