The Loras Players Present: "BLACKLIGHT SHAKESPEARE"

5/10/2013

Created and Arranged by Doug Donald

Take a number of Shakespeare’s monologues and quotes; and remove them from the context of the play. Limit the actor to using their voice and specific visual elements under black light to portray the pieces; a mask, the hands, and a prop. Now, focusing on the text and with minimal, select visual elements, we invite you to experience Shakespeare in a new and experimental context. See the Bard in a different light!

Experience Shakespeare on Friday May 10th and Saturday May 11th at 7:30 pm. The show will take place at the St. Joseph Auditorium in Hoffmann Hall at Loras College. If you are affiliated with Loras College it will be free admission, otherwise general admission is $5.

When the performance begins we will no longer be able to sit late comers.
