Does pursuing an Honors degree create problems for majors?
No. In fact, it should benefit you.
Most of the Honors courses are a more in-depth version of general education courses you have to take anyway. You can always get into Honors courses, so it often makes scheduling easier. The Honors research project should in most cases help you get a jump start on your research for your major. Honors language expectations do not have to be met through course work, so it does not require additional classes.
