Specific Comments on this Program at Loras: Loras is affiliated with the Univ. of Iowa Dental School’s Early Admission Program. This program lets first year students with good grades be admitted to the dental school in the spring of their first year. They apply to the program and must maintain their grades and get a minimum score on the DAT to ensure admission to the dental school after 3 or usually 4 years of college here at Loras.
General Information About This Program AFTER Loras: Dental school is a 4 year program. Unlike medical school dentists can start practicing immediately after dental school after they have passed the qualifying licensing exam.
