The Special Education endorsement prepares candidates to work in general education, inclusive, and special education classrooms, kindergarten through eigth grade or in grades fifth through twelve. Candidates at the elementary level major in elementary education and pursue special education as an endorsement (Instructional Strategist I K-8). Candidates at the secondary level major in one of the approved teaching content areas and pursue special education as an endorsement (Instructional Strategist I 5-12).

LSACEL Principal Preparation Program

The Principal Preparation program (LSACEL, Loras/St.Ambrose Consortium for Educational Leadership) is designed for adults who work full time as teachers. This is a master’s level program that prepares candidates to work as effective administrators and school leaders.
