We are excited that you will be joining the Loras Community as a first year student. We know that the first year is a tumultuous time so Loras College faculty and staff have developed a comprehensive, coordinated approach to the First Year Experience to help students succeed.

Through orientation programs, Modes of Inquiry course, faculty advising and other opportunities, first year students begin to develop a clear sense of identity and purpose and can begin to articulate their personal and academic goals. These experiences will be a great foundation for the rest of your college career.
