The Loras College community welcomes you! We're excited about your recent engagement and rejoice in the mutual love you have discovered. We're also pleased that you desire to declare and seal it, publicly and permanently, in the Sacrament of Marriage. In this way, your love and life together will serve those around you as a sign that Jesus Christ is alive and present to the world. Preparation for marriage is a tremendous opportunity for spiritual growth together with God, and we're glad to be a part of another milestone in your lives!

Engaged Encounter

Engaged Encounter is a weekend (Friday through Sunday afternoon) for the couples to deepen their relationship with each other and God on topics of self-knowledge, human sexuality, communication, decision making, Natural Family Planning, sacraments and more. Weekends are held at the American Martyrs Retreat House, Cedar Falls. For registration information, contact the Family Life Office.
