Gaining that experience through hands-on learning is a priority at Loras College and encompasses everything from self-directed assignments in first year courses to senior capstone projects that you design. With small class sizes and individual attention, we offer you the chance to take direction of your educational experience.

Our professors work to provide unique opportunities in which you do more than just read textbooks and attend lectures. Faculty-student research projects – rare at the undergraduate level – abound at Loras. The wide variety of study abroad programs, internship and service learning opportunities also available are easily integrated into your chosen course of study. Loras has something for everyone, even if you don’t know what you’re looking for yet.
