Loras College

Our state of the art 8,000+ square foot Athletic and Wellness Center is a mulit-level Athletic facility with traditional seating for over 1,700 spectators. It houses cardiovascular and weight training rooms with a variety of equipment to meet the needs of competitive student-athlete and the traditional student who chooses not to compete within the NCAA III programs however is looking to lead a healthy college lifestyle.

The facility also boasts a concessions area and houses the offices of all coaches who compete in the building, the Athletics Director, the strength and conditioning coach, and the athletic training staff. The Loras College Varsity Athletics Hall of Fame area is located along the east wall of the upper concourse. 

With our $3 million Graber Center dedicated in the spring of 1982, lighted tennis courts constructed in the fall of 1981, the San Jose Pool and handball courts erected through the munificence of the Wahlert family, the recently renovated Rock Bowl stadium built in 1940 (renovated in 2003) and the legendary Loras Fieldhouse which dates to 1924, Loras College has hosted several NCAA tournaments and events.
