Loras offers two different tracks within the Computing and Information Technology Major; CIT-Management track within the Division of Business Administration and CIT-Science Track.within the Division of Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science.
Mathematics requirements depend upon the chosen track within the major. Students must choose one of the tracks before their junior year. Many students find it natural to continue a lifelong interest in computers with a degree in Computer Information Technology. A continual demand for computing and information technology professionals in a variety of industries keeps the program thriving and up-to-date. Loras’ commitment to technology provides every student with a laptop, making it that much easier for Information Technology majors to have consistent access to the most important tool of their trade.
