It’s not just about numbers anymore – Mathematics, Engineering, and Computer Science majors are among the most cutting edge programs available today and permeate nearly every industry. Loras capitalizes on this high demand and emphasizes student experience in a variety of hands-on ventures. First year through senior year, students take part in practical applications projects with a twist, from building fire-fighting and ping-pong ball collecting robots to converting satellite dishes into radio telescopes. Students will attend and present at many regional and national conferences. A highly developed student research program is in place to support students as they design and complete challenging and meaningful research projects.
As a laptop campus. everyone has access to the latest technology, available both on campus and around the country. This extensive experience-based curriculum translates into nearly 100% job placement for students after graduation, including positions within Fortune 500 companies.

Of those who graduated from the program within the last decade, 100% reported obtaining employment or entry into graduate school within one year after graduation.
