If you’re looking to learn in a global environment, look no further. Loras’ new minor could be right for you! The Irish Studies minor will deepen your understanding of Irish history and culture. The program involves courses in Literature, Communication, History, Politics and Legal Studies. It is international in its focus, providing extensive opportunities for you to engage in academic study in Ireland. There will also be yearly cultural and academic events related to Irish and Irish-American culture such as public lectures, film screenings and musical performances associated with the new Irish Studies Minor.
Requirements for the minor (18 credits):
Irish Studies Minor
Students who seek an interdisciplinary study of Irish culture, literature, and history may pursue the Irish Studies minor.
