Practical experiences give Sport Science majors opportunities for hands-on discovery and learning. Sport Science majors serve as personal trainers for the Loras faculty and staff, develop exercise interventions for sedentary populations, create nutrition plans, and spend time interviewing experts in the field.
In addition, Sport Science majors complete internship experiences in a wide range of settings including physical therapy clinics, cardiac rehabilitation facilities, hospitals, schools, fitness centers, sport clubs, and more.
