SCHOLARSHIPS & GRANTS

Gift assistance awards (scholarships, grants and special awards) are not repaid. Typically they are awarded based on need or merit consideration.

MERIT-BASED ASSISTANCE & LORAS COLLEGE SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIPS
This is a list of merit-based scholarships available to only U.S. Citizens and permanent residents. These awards are based upon academic merit to full time students, not financial need.

NEED-BASED ASSISTANCE
Grant assistance is available to full time students who complete the FASFA and demonstrate financial need.

ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE / SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The Office of Financial Planning receives information from a variety of organizations and companies who offer scholarships to students. Award amounts and criteria, as well as deadline dates, vary for each scholarship. It is recommended that these resources be pursued early in the admissions and financial assistance processes.
