ADMISSION OF TRANSFER STUDENTS
To apply for transfer admission, you need to:
• Submit official transcripts from all colleges you have attended
• Complete application for admission ($25 non-refundable application fee is waived when you apply online)
• Submit official high school transcripts (showing your date of graduation) or GED certificate
• Submt ACT or SAT scores
A minimum cumulative college grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is required for full admission. Applicants who do not meet the full admission requirement may be considered through the admission standards committee, but submitting the completed application package and a personal statement.
You may transfer in a maximum of 64 credits from an accredited two-year institution, or 90 credits from an accredited four-year institution. You may combine credits from both two-year and four-year colleges, but the maximum number of transfer credits Loras will accept is 90. Only courses in which you have earned a grade of "C" or higher will be considered for transfer credit.
