Campus Dining Options
All students living in traditional housing (Beckman, Binz, Rohlman, and the Visitation are required to have a Traditional meal plan. The Traditional meal contract entitles students to meals when classes are in session. The plans are not transferable from one student to another, and any meals not eaten at the end of the semester are not transferable and are nonrefundable. Meals are available on campus during the times that January Term classes are in session, and students on the purple or gold meal plan for the spring semester are assigned to a January term meal plan based on the number of days their class is on campus. Students on a Duhawk meal plan will have their Duhawk meal plan available to them during January term. First and second year students are required to have a Traditional meal plan, Juniors and Seniors in alternative housing may choose a Traditional or Alternative meal plan or may opt out of a meal plan.

Meal Plan Options
Student Dining Plan
The Student Dining Plan allows for 15 meals per week. This plan also features $200 per semester to be used in the Cafe, The Pub, The Duhawk Market, Concessions, Einstein Bros. Bagels or the Hoffmann mini-store. Purchases of $100 or more in additional points receive a 5% bonus from Campus Dining. This plan also features 3 guest passes per semester to dine in the Cafe. Any remaining points or meals not eaten are not transferable from one semester to the next, and are nonrefundable. Additional Duhawk Dollars can be purchased in increments of $25.
All students living in alternative housing (Byrne Oaks, McCarthy-Lynch Apartments, Smyth Hall, Visitation Apartments or College-owned houses) and all commuter students are NOT required to be on a meal plan. However, they may choose to be on a traditional or alternative meal plan. The Duhawk Plan and Loras Meal Plan ARE NOT available to students living in traditional campus housing. The Duhawk Plan or Loras Meal Plan contracts entitle students to meals only when classes are in session. Duhawk Dollars cannot be used during academic breaks (i.e., spring break, winter break, etc.). The plan is not transferable from one student to another. All meal plans will automatically be reassigned for the spring semester unless the Residence Life Office is notified in writing that you do not want to renew a plan. Meal plans cannot be changed after September 2 in the fall semester and February 3 in the spring semester. Meals are available on campus during the times that January Term classes are in session.
This plan features $575 per semester to be used in the Cafe, The Pub, the Duhawk Market, Concessions, Einstein Bros. Bagels or the Hoffmann mini-store (POD). While balances are transferable from fall to spring semester if you renew your plan second semester, any remaining balance at the end of spring semester is nonrefundable. Additional points can be purchased throughout the semester (minimum of $25); however, points are not transferable from one student to another. Purchases of $100 or more in additional points receive a 5% bonus from Campus Dining.
Loras Meal Plan
This plan allows for $275 to be used in the Café, The Pub, the Duhawk Market, Concessions, Einstein Bros. Bagels, or the Hoffmann mini-store (POD). The Loras Meal Plan is for commuter Students only. This plan will carry forward during the academic year as long as you continue to be enrolled as a Loras College student. Additional points can be added in $25 increments. Points are not transferable from one student to another and any unused balance is nonrefundable.
