2016 ACMA Upper Midwest Regional Moot Court Tournament

Loras College is partnering with University of Iowa College of Law to co-host the 2016 ACMA Upper Midwest Regional Moot Court Tournament

  • Tournament Location: University of Iowa College of Law, Iowa City
  • Tournament Dates: November 18th & 19th
  • Registration Dates: October 1st – November 10th
  • Registration Cost: $125 per team

REGISTRATION

Field limited to 24 teams, with no more than 3 teams from same institution. Due to room constraints, some/all teams will have a bye during one of the preliminary rounds. All teams will compete in three preliminary rounds.

1:30-1:45 pm Welcome for competitors—Levitt Auditorium
Judge meeting for those judging the first round—Rm. 265
2:00-3:00 pm Preliminary Round I
3:15-4:15pm Preliminary Round II
4:30-5:30 pm Preliminary Round III
5:45-6:45 pm Preliminary Round IV
6:45-8:30 pm Dinner and Announcement of Results—Boyd Law Building Student Lounge, 2nd Floor

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19

8:00-8:20 am Check-in—Boyd Law Building Concourse
Judge meeting for those judging the first round—Rm. 265
8:30-9:30 am Elimination Round I
9:45-10:45 am Elimination Round II
11:00-noon Elimination Round III
Noon-1:00 pm Lunch—Boyd Law Building Concourse
Lunch provided for final round competitors and their coaches, as well as the judges
1:15-2:00 Championship Round—Levitt Auditorium – 1 room
