FIVE TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES EARN ALL-AMERICAN HONORS

On the final day of the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Loras brought home five All-American honors, bringing Loras’ total to six after sophomore Elizabeth Brandenburg‘s honor in the pole vault on day one of competition.

Second-time All-Americans Josh Goerdt (’15), Zach Frey (’16) and their teammates in the 4×400 Relay, Brandon Gradoville (’17) and Zac Gassman (’15), pulled off a sixth place finish in the race and earned All-American honors.

It is the first All-American honor for Gradoville and Gassman, while Frey was an All-American in the 800 a season ago and Goerdt finishes his career at Loras with three All-American honors.

Brandenburg just narrowly missed out on her second All-American honor at the end of this season, finishing ninth in the 100m Hurdles in 14.48 seconds.
