LORAS COLLEGE TV NAMED IOWA’S COLLEGIATE STATION FOR SIXTH TIME

326e5b3e-2338-417a-99f3-c5272a3179caLoras College Television (LCTV) has been named Iowa’s Collegiate Television Station of the Year by the Iowa College Media Association (ICMA). Judged by professional experts in the field, this is the 6th year in a row LCTV has been honored with the prestigious award.

In addition, Loras College media studies students dominated the individual category awards, taking home first place for nine of the 11 awards. The students showcased the Loras media studies program with wins in Best Newscast, Best Short Film, Best Commercial, Best Short Documentary and Best Corporate Video.“Our students make a commitment to produce professional quality work every day. It doesn’t matter if it’s a short film or a news story or a creative commercial, they work incredibly hard to be the best they can be,” said Schaefer. “They don’t want anything handed to them. They want to earn every accolade they receive.”
