Loras is a Catholic, diocesan institution founded and framed by Catholic principles and ideals. We’re proud of our faith tradition, but that doesn’t mean, however, that you have to be Catholic to "be more. be LORAS."
Our curriculum is designed to give you an understanding of Catholicism, while leaving you the space in which to make your own spiritual decisions. Take advantage of the wide variety of prayer services and opportunities for spiritual expression available on campus every day of the week. Join the overflowing crowd of all denominations at Sunday night Mass where students do everything from providing the music to distributing the Eucharist to reading the liturgy.
Campus ministry offers service trips and retreats designed by students throughout the year. A variety of ecumenical opportunities exist to assist students of other religious traditions in practicing their faith. Our community helps you develop principles to live by no matter where you’re from or where life takes you from here.
