DUBUQUE, Iowa — Loras College will kick off its fall series of concerts beginning with the Steeple Square Organ Showcase at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at Steeple Square. Other musical events will run through December, including the Fall Wind Ensemble, 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 in the St. Joseph Auditorium in Hoffman Hall.
The Steeple Square Organ Showcase will feature the Loras Chamber Singers with organist Michael Bagby, Ph.D., coordinator of liturgy and music at Loras. The event begins at 6:30 with the Loras Chamber Singers performing at 7:30 p.m.
The event is free but a donation of $10 is suggested and there will be a cash bar.
The Fall Wind Ensemble Concert “The History of Music through the Wind Ensemble,” concert will present a historical look at music. The concert will feature the works of J.S. Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Berlioz, Gabriel Fauré, Tschaikovsky and Carl Orff.
This concert is open to the public and there is no admission charge.

• Danielle Besler Senior Recital – Nov. 23 in Gallagher Hall
• Sam Anderson Senior Recital – Nov. 26 in Gallagher
• Mysteries of Christmas – Dec. 6 at Steeple Square
