DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Loras College Music Department will host its annual fall concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2 inside Christ the King Chapel on the Loras campus. The free “Comfort Concert” is open to the public.
The evening will consist of pieces that encourage people to seek comfort, even in times of emptiness. With a variety of composers and poetry, the performances aim to recall nostalgic feelings and encourage reflective thought.
Directed by Adam Kluck, Ph.D., assistant professor of music, the concert will feature four choirs: Con Brio, Bella Voce, Concert Choir and Chamber Choir.
