The Archbishop Kucera Center for Catholic Intellectual and Spiritual Life
Welcome to the Archbishop Kucera Center. Our mission is to support Catholic intellectual and spiritual life at Loras College and in the Archdiocese of Dubuque. We sponsor workshops, symposia, speakers, internships, research, retreats, travel, and other activities consistent with this mission, both on campus and across Northeastern Iowa. We invite requests to help fund projects or programs consistent with our mission. If you would like to make such a request, please submit a short proposal with the following information:
- The name of the individual or organization making the request
- The primary contact person (please include address, telephone, and e-mail)
- A brief introduction to the individual or organization
- A description of the project or program for which you are requesting support
- A description of how this project or program is consistent with the Archbishop Kucera Center’s mission
- A budget for the project or program

Archdiocese Of Dubuque
The Dubuque Archdiocesan Archives and the Center for Dubuque History at Loras College have combined their parish history holdings to create a remarkable collection of materials that help to tell the story of Catholic life in the Archdiocese. The full collection is permanently housed at the Pastoral Center, 1229 Mt. Loretta Ave. in Dubuque, however a summary of the holdings is available on our Parish History page as part of the Archbishop Kucera Center publication series, “Spiritual Life in the Upper Mississippi River Valley.”
